Shipping & Delivery Policy

This policy explains how delivery works for purchases from Le Musica (“we”, “us”). It complements our Terms of Service and Warranty.

 

Scope & service levels

  • Pianos (white‑glove). Our standard service includes delivery to your address and on‑site installation in the same appointment within our service zones. This covers unboxing, placement in a room of choice, assembly/setup (legs/lyre/pedals/music stand), bench setup, basic function checks, and removal of packaging.
  • Accessories & small items (courier). Strings, benches, covers, pedals, cables, and similar items ship via courier. Installation is not included for courier shipments.

 

Delivery areas, lead times & scheduling

  • Coverage. We deliver within Sarawak. For addresses outside our standard zones or with difficult access, we will quote surcharges or alternative arrangements.
  • Lead times (guideline). Lead times vary by item, stock location, and address. Larger instruments may require longer transit times compared to courier parcels. We will confirm an estimated window when we schedule your delivery.
  • Scheduling for pianos. Our team will contact you to arrange a date/time window. Please ensure an adult (18+) is available to receive and sign off the delivery/installation note.
  • Tracking for courier shipments. We provide a tracking link when your item is dispatched.

 

Fees, surcharges & access readiness

  • Fees. No Delivery/installation fees for the new purchase of piano with Le Musica.
  • Surcharges (where applicable). Stair carries (no lift), tight or unsafe access, long push distances, after‑hours or narrow time windows, remote/limited‑access locations, parking/permit charges, or failed delivery attempts.
  • Site readiness. Please measure doorways/hallways/lifts, clear access paths, and secure pets/children. If the site is not ready or unsafe, we may reschedule; re‑delivery/re‑installation fees may apply.

 

Risk of loss, title & inspection on delivery

  • Title passes to you when payment is received in full. Risk transfers when the goods are delivered and you (or your representative) sign the completion note.
  • Inspection window. Please inspect items on delivery. For any damage, shortage, or wrong item, notify us within 48 hours with photos/videos so we can assist promptly.

 

Failed delivery & storage

If delivery fails due to incorrect address, absence, or site not ready/unsafe, we will arrange a new date; re‑delivery or storage fees may apply.

 

Self‑collection

Self‑collection is available for eligible small items by prior arrangement. Pianos generally require our delivery & installation service.

 

Post‑delivery care (acoustic pianos)

We recommend tuning after the instrument has acclimatised in your home (typically 2–4 weeks). Avoid placing the piano near direct sunlight, air‑conditioning vents, or areas with high humidity/temperature swings.

 

International shipping

International shipping is not offered by default. Contact us for a custom quotation if required.
